Job Description

Role & responsibilities

SAP ABAP Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
Work extensively on
S/4HANA-specific features
such as CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Participate in
SAP S/4HANA implementation projects
, ensuring smooth migration and integration.
Optimize ABAP code for performance and maintainability in S/4HANA systems.
Provide technical support during upgrades, rollouts, and system enhancements.
Document technical designs, test cases, and maintain version control.

Mandatory Skills

Strong hands-on experience in
SAP ABAP development
(Reports, Module Pool, SmartForms, Data Dictionary).
Expertise in
SAP S/4HANA
technologies (CDS Views, AMDP, OData, Fiori integration).
Proven track record in
SAP Implementation projects
(end-to-end lifecycle).
Knowledge of integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, HR, etc.).
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to
SAP Fiori/UI5
development.
Knowledge of
SAP Workflow
.
Experience in
S/4HANA migration projects
.
Familiarity with Agile methodology and DevOps practices.
