SAP ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming) Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using the
ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
.
Build and enhance
CDS Views
and expose them through
OData services
for Fiori/UI5 applications.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
Ensure adherence to
Clean Core principles
by minimizing custom code in the S/4HANA core.
Integrate and customize solutions within
Central Procurement Hub
scenarios.
Leverage
SAP BTP
for extensions, integrations, and RAP-based developments.
Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
Stay updated with the latest
SAP technologies (RAP, CDS, OData, BTP, Fiori/UI5)
and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in
SAP ABAP development
.
Strong expertise in
ABAP RAP, CDS Views, OData services, and BOPF
.
Proven experience with
S/4HANA
and
Fiori/UI5
development.
Solid understanding of
Clean Core architecture
and extensibility options.
Familiarity with
SAP BTP
and its services for extensions and integration.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Strong communication and documentation abilities
