Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in

ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model), traditional ABAP

development, and technical testing. The ideal candidate will be capable of designing,

developing, and testing high-quality applications and extensions on SAP S/4HANA using

modern ABAP frameworks, CDS, OData, and RAP-based Fiori apps.

Key Responsibilities

ABAP RAP & S/4HANA Development

• Design and develop applications using ABAP RAP including behavior definitions,

CDS Views, service bindings, and service definitions.

• Build OData v4 services using RAP for Fiori/UI5 consumption.

• Develop S/4HANA extensions using in-app/extensibility frameworks.

Traditional ABAP Development

• Work on classical ABAP: Reports, Enhancements, Exits, BAdIs, ALVs, Interfaces,

and Forms (SmartForms/Adobe).

• Develop custom objects in areas such as MM, SD, FI, P2P, O2C, and HR.

Technical Testing & Quality

• Perform technical unit testing, integration testing, and code-level testing of

ABAP/RAP objects.

• Conduct performance analysis using SAT, ATC, and Code Inspector tools.

• Ensure the quality, security, and scalability of all developed solutions.

Technical Architecture & Problem Solving

• Collaborate with functional consultants to refine technical designs.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across ABAP, CDS, OData, and RAP layers.

• Work with API integrations and data models to support business processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years total experience in SAP ABAP Development.

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with ABAP RAP.

• Strong knowledge of:

• CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Analytical)
• OData v2/v4 services
• ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model
• Behavior Definitions & Implementations
