SAP ABAP & FIORI Consultant

Role Overview: As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for delivering solutions in a timely manner and transferring functional specifications to technical specifications. You will configure Fiori Launchpad, set up and maintain Fiori Services and logs, and extensively work on FIORI applications, enabling extensions and customizations on standard apps. Your role will involve the development and maintenance of CDS, ODATA services, and Fiori/Ui5 applications. Additionally, you will plan and execute internal unit testing and integration testing, identify root causes, propose test cases and fixes, and develop new debugging tools while working closely with product teams. You will also be involved in Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Support projects, troubleshooting and resolving client support tickets, and collaborating with the Technical/AMS lead to address outstanding issues. Your responsibility will include working closely with customers and IT Functional to handle day-to-day support and maintenance, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding incidents and providing continuous improvement opportunities. You will be accountable for the quality of deliverables, communication, clarity of task progression, and the performance of the implemented solution. Being a team player is essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver solutions in a timely manner - Transfer functional specifications to technical specifications - Configure Fiori Launchpad - Setup and maintain Fiori Services and logs - Work extensively on FIORI applications for enabling extensions and customizations - Develop and maintain CDS, ODATA services, and Fiori/Ui5 applications - Plan and execute internal unit testing and integration testing - Identify root causes, propose test cases and fixes, and develop new debugging tools - Participate in Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Support projects - Troubleshoot and resolve client support tickets - Collaborate with Technical/AMS lead to address outstanding issues - Work closely with customers and IT Functional for day-to-day support and maintenance - Ensure timely resolution of outstanding incidents and provide continuous improvement opportunities - Ensure quality of deliverables - Maintain clear communication and task progression - Ensure performance of the implemented solution - Demonstrate teamwork Qualifications Required: - Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field - Minimum 5 years of experience in Backend development with one of the following programming languages: NodeJS, Python, or Java - Hands-on experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL - Proficiency in cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP - Knowledge of Data Dictionaries, Templates, Workflows - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) - Extensive experience with backend development and architecture - Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them - Proficient understanding of GIT for versioning - Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills - Startup Spirit: Self-motivated, comfortable in a dynamic, evolving environment - Good command of spoken & written English, Mandarin; French is a great plus - Fast learner and able to work independently,
