Job Description

Role & responsibilities

SAP ABAP Consultant

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain
custom ABAP programs
including classical reports, ALV reports, Interactive ALV, and OO-ALV reports in
S/4HANA
.
Design and implement
CDS Views
(Core Data Services) for analytics and reporting purposes.
Perform
HANA modeling
including Analytical, Attribute, and Calculation views.
Work on
ABAP on HANA
features like AMDP, CDS annotations, and performance optimization techniques.
Enhance existing SAP applications through
user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, enhancements, and modifications
.
Work on
data migration, interfaces, and IDOC processing
.
Collaborate with functional teams to analyze business requirements and prepare
technical specifications
.
Participate in
unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning
.
Provide support for
SAP Fiori applications
including backend integration and OData services.
Ensure adherence to SAP coding standards, best practices, and project timelines.

Skills Required:

Strong expertise in
SAP ABAP
and
Core ABAP
Hands-on experience with
S/4HANA
development
Proficient in
CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA modeling
Experience with
Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms, and Module Pool Programming
Knowledge of
ABAP Data Dictionary, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and IDOCs
Understanding of functional modules like
MM, SD, FI
is a plus
Ability to work in
implementation, support, and upgrade projects
Strong
problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
