SAP ABAP Consultant

The position of SAP ABAP Consultant requires a professional with over 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development. As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will take on the responsibility of independently delivering technical objects. It is crucial for candidates to have a background in collaborating closely with business stakeholders, clients, and functional SMEs in order to drive technical solutions based on client requirements. In this role, you will be expected to engage in code review activities, address design issues, and conduct functional QA reviews. Your role will involve working in close coordination with testing, business, and functional teams to facilitate system and integration testing within the SAP environment. Moreover, you will be tasked with guiding and mentoring junior ABAP developers to assist them in translating business/functional requirements into coherent technical design specifications and documentation. The ideal candidate should possess exemplary problem-solving abilities, adeptness in cross-team collaboration, exceptional communication skills, and keen attention to detail. Previous experience working with multicultural clients and teams across various time zones would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities: - Independently deliver high-quality ABAP technical objects. - Collaborate with business and functional teams to comprehend requirements. - Contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and provide testing support. - Mentor junior developers and ensure compliance with technical standards and documentation. Must-Have Skills: - Proficiency in S/4HANA, including CDS views, RAP, and AMDP. - Strong expertise in SAP Fiori encompassing front-end and back-end development. - Familiarity with Eclipse ADT and VS Code / Business Application Studio (BAS). - Sound knowledge and experience in Finance (FI) module enhancements or integrations. - Thorough understanding of RICEF objects in traditional as well as S/4HANA systems. Good-to-Have Skills: - Experience in working with EWM, TM, or MDG modules. - SAP ABAP on S/4HANA Certification. - Exceptional communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
