Job Description: SAP ABAP Consultant

Skill Set:

Job Overview

SAP ABAP Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP programs including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW).
Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization.
Develop and enhance ALV reports, Smart Forms / SAP Scripts, and custom programs.
Handle data migration, interfaces, and enhancements using user exits, BADIs, and enhancements.
Provide production support and resolve incidents/issues in a timely manner.
Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–6 years of hands-on experience in
SAP ABAP
development.
Strong knowledge of classical and OO ABAP.
Experience with ALV Reports, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and enhancements.
Good understanding of SAP functional processes and integration points.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to SAP S/4HANA ABAP development.
Experience in short-term or contract-based assignments.
Prior experience working in client-facing environments
