Sample Collection Boy

The Sample Collection Boy is responsible for collecting specimens (blood, urine, etc.) from patients at their homes, clinics, or designated locations and ensuring their safe and timely delivery to the laboratory, maintaining proper handling and documentation protocols. Key Responsibilities:  Collect blood and other pathology samples from patients at home, clinics, or partner centers. Ensure proper patient identification before sample collection. Label samples accurately and maintain sample integrity during transport. Maintain hygiene and safety standards while collecting samples (using gloves, masks, etc.). Handle and transport collected specimens safely to the lab within stipulated time. Maintain logs and documentation of all collections done Coordinate with lab technicians and report any issues or delays. Follow protocols for storage and handling of samples (e.g., refrigeration if required). Maintain the cleanliness of collection kits and equipment. Courteous and professional behavior with patients and staff. Assist with other lab-related tasks as directed.
