Salesforce QA Automation Engineer

About the Role :
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce QA Automation Engineer with a solid background in test automation, Salesforce Sales Cloud, and agile testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in designing, developing, and executing automated test cases to ensure the highest quality of our Salesforce platform implementations. This role plays a key part in our QA strategy and collaborates cross-functionally to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for Salesforce Sales Cloud features and integrations.- Perform end-to-end functional, UI/UX, regression, and usability testing for web and mobile applications.- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.- Identify, document, and track defects and test results using JIRA or similar test management tools.- Develop and maintain reusable test frameworks and scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.- Ensure high standards of quality by following QA best practices and continuously improving testing processes.- Foster a collaborative and high-performing QA environment by mentoring peers and encouraging knowledge sharing.Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation testing, including test planning, scripting, and execution.- Strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, including workflows, validation rules, and custom objects.- Proficient with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Postman, or REST Assured.- Experience in API testing and data-driven testing approaches.- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket) and automation pipelines.- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC, agile testing methodologies, and test documentation.- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications :
- Salesforce QA Certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder) is a plus.- Experience working with Lightning components and Salesforce integrations.- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing is an added advantage.
