Salesforce DevOps Engineer

As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, your role is crucial in enhancing the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the Salesforce DevOps ecosystem. You will be responsible for optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Copado CI/CD, Copado CRT, and Azure DevOps to ensure best practices are implemented and deployment issues are proactively addressed. Your ability to thrive in a collaborative yet independent environment and your passion for enhancing systems, processes, and delivery will be key to your success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate current DevOps practices and enhance deployment processes across the Salesforce landscape. - Lead the configuration, optimization, and maintenance of automated CI/CD pipelines using Copado CI/CD, Copado CRT, and Azure DevOps. - Troubleshoot and resolve Copado deployment errors impacting development and delivery timelines. - Design and implement release automation, rollback procedures, version control integrations, and branching strategies. - Collaborate with development, QA, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments across various environments. - Identify automation opportunities and implement scripts or tools to streamline deployment workflows. - Support integration of automated testing into deployment pipelines for high-quality releases. - Monitor and ensure DevOps practices align with organizational metrics and performance standards. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - 5+ years of DevOps or release engineering experience, with 3+ years supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud. - Strong Salesforce development expertise including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative configuration. - In-depth knowledge of Salesforce metadata structure and dependencies, especially in CPQ environments. - Experience with deployment automation, rollback strategies, and metadata management. - Proficiency in Copado CI/CD, Copado CRT, Azure DevOps, and Git-based version control systems. - Copado Certifications: Fundamentals I & II, Copado Developer, Copado Consultant. - Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I, Administrator, App Builder. - Experience with Own Backup or similar solutions for Salesforce backup and recovery. - Experience in Agile environments with cross-functional delivery teams. - Familiarity with additional DevOps and automation tools like Jenkins, Gearset, Selenium. - Knowledge of monitoring tools and strategies to enhance observability of deployments and environments.
