Salesforce Developer

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Cloud (Customer Data Platform - CDP) Implementation Specialist to support the rollout of our Data Cloud platform. This role requires a hands-on expert who can work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, while maintaining a strong focus on data privacy and integration best practices.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and configuration of Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP)
• Integrate Salesforce CDP with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other internal systems
• Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
• Develop and optimize data flows using SQL, APIs (REST/SOAP), and optionally MuleSoft
• Participate in daily standups and provide regular progress updates
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data ingestion, segmentation, and activation

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CDP (Data Cloud)
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Strong understanding of data privacy and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries
• Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs
• (Preferred) Experience with MuleSoft for integration
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Additional Details:

• Duration: 6 months initially, with the possibility of extension
• Expected Weekly Hours: 40
• Time Zone Alignment: Must be available for meetings until at least 11:00 AM PST
