Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer

As a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer at Spikewell India Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of Spikewell LLC, USA, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and creating solutions within the SFCC platform that align with project objectives and success criteria. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with on-site project managers, analyzing project goals, coding new UI/backend components and applications, designing custom workflows, managing user roles, and resolving application errors and performance issues. Key Responsibilities: - Build and enhance SFRA storefronts (ISML, controllers, cartridges) and Page Designer components for multi-site, multi-locale setups. - Translate wireframes into responsive, accessible UI (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with clean ISML templates and server-side controllers. - Design for performance, SEO, and accessibility (Lighthouse/Core Web Vitals, a11y best practices). - Contribute to composable stacks (Commerce API + headless front ends like Composable Storefront/Next.js) when applicable. - Uphold best practices for content architecture, navigation, and Business Manager configuration. - Write unit/integration tests; support UAT; participate in code reviews and CI/CD (GitHub, pipelines). - Troubleshoot production issues (caching, jobs, indexing, quotas, rate limits) and drive RCA with clear remediation. - Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, DevOps, and security on compliant (PCI/SOC) releases. Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of SFCC development experience and a certified SFCC Developer or Architect. - Demonstrated experience in end-to-end implementations of SFCC eCommerce applications in B2C, B2B, multi-site, and multi-country environments. - Strong SFRA expertise (ISML, controllers, pipelines/cartridges), Page Designer components, and multi-site configuration. - Proficiency with SCAPI/Commerce API and OCAPI; deep understanding of when to use each and related governance/rate limits. - Solid front-end skills: semantic HTML, modern CSS, JavaScript; experience building cross-browser, cross-device experiences. - Comfortable in Business Manager (catalog, promotions, schedules, jobs, feeds, search, caching). - Version control (Git/GitHub), code reviews, and CI/CD practices; working knowledge of test automation. - Strong fundamentals in OOP, data modeling, and performance optimization. - Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
