Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer

Role Overview: As a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer at Spikewell India Pvt. Ltd, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and creating solutions within the SFCC platform to meet project objectives and success criteria. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with project managers, coding UI/backend components, designing custom workflows, managing user roles, and resolving application errors and performance issues. Key Responsibilities: - Build and enhance SFRA storefronts for multi-site, multi-locale setups, including ISML, controllers, and cartridges. - Translate wireframes into responsive, accessible UI using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with clean ISML templates and server-side controllers. - Design for performance, SEO, and accessibility, following Lighthouse/Core Web Vitals and a11y best practices. - Contribute to composable stacks like Commerce API + headless front ends when applicable. - Uphold best practices for content architecture, navigation, and Business Manager configuration. - Write unit/integration tests, support UAT, participate in code reviews, and CI/CD processes. - Troubleshoot production issues such as caching, jobs, indexing, quotas, and rate limits, driving RCA with clear remediation. - Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, DevOps, and security teams for compliant releases. Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of SFCC development experience and certification as a SFCC Developer or Architect. - Demonstrated experience in end-to-end implementations of SFCC eCommerce applications in various environments. - Strong expertise in SFRA, Page Designer components, and multi-site configuration. - Proficiency with SCAPI/Commerce API and OCAPI, with an understanding of related governance and rate limits. - Solid front-end skills in semantic HTML, modern CSS, and JavaScript for cross-browser experiences. - Comfortable working with Business Manager functionalities such as catalog, promotions, schedules, and caching. - Experience with version control (Git/GitHub), code reviews, CI/CD practices, and test automation. - Strong fundamentals in OOP, data modeling, and performance optimization. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.
