Salesforce Architect

Role Overview

• Act as a Salesforce Technical Architect within CGI's Salesforce Practice, delivering enterprise-grade solutions across multiple client engagements.
• Design, estimate, present, and implement scalable Salesforce architectures aligned with client business objectives.
• Leverage extensive Salesforce platform knowledge to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and performant solutions.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical designs using Salesforce technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end technical architecture for Salesforce implementations across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud.
• Design and develop scalable solutions using Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
• Apply SOLID principles and enterprise design patterns to ensure clean and maintainable code.
• Lead solution design activities including system integration, data migration, and platform customization.
• Delegate and oversee development tasks, ensuring adherence to coding standards, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
• Analyze business requirements and map them to Salesforce-native or integrated solutions.
• Conduct system analysis and create technical and process diagrams using standard modeling tools.
• Develop Proof of Value pilots and supporting documentation to demonstrate Salesforce capabilities.
• Support pre-sales activities including RFP and RFI responses with technical solution inputs.
• Stay current with Salesforce product releases, features, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or higher qualification.
• Minimum 14 years of hands-on Salesforce experience across enterprise implementations.
• Strong expertise in object-oriented programming and MVC-based design patterns.

Technical Expertise (Must-Have)

• Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Strong hands-on development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Framework, and Visualforce.
• Proficiency in REST and SOAP-based integrations and troubleshooting integration issues.
• Experience working with SOQL and relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Proven experience in Salesforce data migration and system-to-system integrations.
• Background in test-driven development and structured QA environments.
