Sales Representative - Organic Incense Sticks (Mumbai Metropolitan Region)

We're looking for a highly motivated and persuasive Sales Representative to introduce our new line of chemical-free incense sticks – VATSI Natural Dhoop to organic food retailers across Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, and Thane. In this role, you'll be instrumental in establishing our brand presence and driving sales within this niche market.

Responsibilities:

• Market Penetration: Identify and visit organic food stores, health food shops, and other relevant retailers within the assigned territory (Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, Thane) to introduce our chemical-free incense sticks.
• Product Presentation: Effectively present the unique selling propositions of our chemical-free incense sticks, highlighting their benefits, quality, and alignment with the organic consumer market.
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with store owners, managers, and purchasing decision-makers to secure initial product placement.
• Sales & Negotiation: Persuade retailers to stock our products, negotiate favorable terms, and secure initial orders.
• Follow-up & Replenishment: Conduct regular follow-ups with retailers to monitor sales performance, address any concerns, and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Market Feedback: Gather feedback from retailers regarding product performance, market trends, and competitor activities to inform future sales and marketing strategies.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts.
• Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed agreed-upon sales targets and KPIs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in field sales, preferably within the FMCG, organic products, or retail sectors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with the retail landscape of Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, and Thane is a plus.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Basic computer proficiency for reporting and communication.
