Field Sales profile current and past experience in handling distributors/dealers. If yes, how many and in which all location. Ask them to name their top 10 dealer counters/ distributors. How much is the monthly secondary sales they do. Ask if they have appointed new dealers in their market.
How many dealer outlets they visit on daily basis. (at least 10-15 they should).
What are the products they work with. Who is the major competitor. They should be able to explain about the product they are working on.
Check for communication English/ local language.
Inform them about the respective territory they should handle.
Check for Net Take Home salary and notice period.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
• Develop and implement sales strategies for the growth of the organization.
• Achieving sales target for the assigned area
• Identifying and developing channel partners for achieving business volumes consistently and
profitably
• Increasing the depth and width of the channels.
• Visiting retailers and distributors
• Supervising distribution network supervising frontline sales activities
• Handle the primary and secondary sales.
• Customer interface and feedback
• Identify the new markets where we can penetrate and increase sales.
• To collect orders, and money and hunt for new potential outlets in both the water heater and
purifier categories (market expansion).
• Having an eye on competitor’s activity and reporting for the same to his supervisor on a daily
basis.
• Informing and implementing the Company Policies in the market.
