Job Summary

Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets in assigned regions or product lines.
Identify and establish relationships with key clients in infrastructure, construction, fabrication, and OEM industries.
Handle enquiries, quotations, and negotiations to close orders for steel products.
Lead and manage a team of sales executives and ensure performance targets are met.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing to optimize positioning and profitability.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
Coordinate with production, logistics, and customer support teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to promote brand and product visibility.
Ensure compliance with all commercial, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

Education
: Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing is preferred.
Experience
: 8-15 years of sales experience, preferably in
steel manufacturing or heavy industrial products/ PEB/ Water Treatment/
Strong knowledge of steel grades, product specifications, and pricing structures.
Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and manage large accounts.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and report analysis.

Preferred Skills

Experience handling government or large infrastructure accounts.
Ability to travel extensively across regions as needed.
