Job Description

The Business Development Manager (luxury interior) role based in Pune requires a candidate with at least 3 years of experience in sales of luxury furniture or any luxury interior-related product. The salary is negotiable, and having a laptop and either a 2-wheeler or 4-wheeler is a must. The company gives the first preference to female candidates. Key responsibilities include lead generation through architects & designers, brand offering presentations, relationship building and management with top Architects, Interior Designers, and Key Associates, organizing in-store events, and socializing with architects and their key associates regularly to build strong networks. The ideal candidate should have well-established relationships with A and B Architects and Designers in Pune and surrounding cities, a track record of achieving yearly sales above 6 Cr, experience in sales/marketing of luxury furniture or luxury interior products to A and B interior designers and architects, an aggressive approach, excellent presentation and communication skills, strong follow-up skills with prospects, and must be open to traveling (intercity & intracity). The job description entails prospecting by developing a list of target interior designers and architects, actively seeking out new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and visiting architect and designer offices to secure appointments. The candidate will present brand offerings, products, and services, collect data on projects and pitch for them, arrange showroom and factory visits, follow up with prospects until project closure, engage the existing customer base with the latest projects and company news, represent the organization at trade shows, events, and demonstrations, take architect/customer feedback for future improvements, and coordinate photoshoots of sites post-completion.
