Sales Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and result-oriented Sales Manager to lead and manage the pharma sales team targeting the chemist/retail pharmacy segment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring brand visibility, managing the team of sales executives, and strengthening relationships with the retail network. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of Sales Executives covering designated territories. Achieve primary and secondary sales targets through the chemist channel. Plan and execute sales strategies to increase product reach and market share. Monitor team performance and guide them to improve productivity. Regularly visit retail counters and ensure product availability and visibility. Build strong relationships with key chemists, stockists, and distributors. Analyse market trends and competitor activities to take timely actions. Coordinate with supply chain and ensure smooth distribution flow. Conduct regular sales review meetings and submit reports to higher management. Train and motivate the team to maintain high performance and discipline. Key Requirements: Minimum 47 years of experience in Pharma Sales, with at least 1–2 years in a managerial role. Strong understanding of chemist/retail pharma sales operations. Proven track record of leading sales teams and achieving targets. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. Should possess good market knowledge and customer relationships in the region. Education: Graduate in any discipline (Science/Pharmacy preferred). Two-wheeler and valid driving license required.
