Business Card Title: Business Head-TAPS Division Benchmark Title: Business Head-TAPS Division Job Summary: Business Head-TAPS must Provide clear leadership and vision, inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence and mentor them as they develop new skills. Drive Key Performance Indicators across all areas of the Manufacturing function to ensure that all projects are delivered on cost and on time to the highest quality standards. Responsible for Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth. Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives. Researching prospective accounts in target markets. Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle. Also drive the general management of all phases of TAPS Product operations including manufacturing, employee health & Safety, product quality, on time delivery to the customers, facility/physical plant up-keep and capital improvements & Profitability. Scope: Lead and driving the team with limited supervision & general guidance. Education: BE or equivalent Age and Experience: Up to 40 years. Should have about consistent 18-20 years of experience. Preference will be given to the candidate from the manufacturing industry. Exposure to knowledge of ERP is desirable. Experience of working in Manufacturing / Assembly Line. Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing skills. Experience of dealing with customers, suppliers. Excellent communication skills including English, Tamil & Hindi. Job Specific Comments: Job Specific Comments: Strategy and Development Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance. Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization and market. General and Task Management Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs, Arrange business meetings with prospective customers. Promote the companys products/services addressing or predicting customers objectives People Management Ensure the delivery of the People Strategy within area of accountability. Manage, coach and develop a high performing manufacturing team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements. Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting Financial and Budget Control Input and hold responsibility for manufacturing budgets. Prepare the annual Manufacturing budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects. Responsible for achieving budget and forecast Relationship Management Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers. Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy. Communicate with stakeholders the impact of market changes and potential effects on engineering design and development. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost. Skills and Attributes: Excellent leadership and man- management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
