Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Management

  • Generate new business leads through multiple channels such as referrals, cold calling, digital platforms, and travel networks.
  • Handle inbound & outbound sales inquiries for domestic and international tour packages.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Prepare customized itineraries and quotations based on client requirements.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to convert leads into bookings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.

Team Leadership

  • Lead a small team of junior sales executives and provide guidance, training, and daily support.
  • Monitor team performance, ensure targets are achieved, and assist team members in closure of key deals.
  • Motivate the team and maintain a high-performance culture.

Operations Coordination

  • Coordinate with operations and ticketing teams for booking confirmations, vendor management, and timely service delivery.
  • Work with suppliers, hotels, and DMCs for competitive pricing and product updates.

Market & Product Knowledge

  • Stay updated on travel trends, visa guidelines, airline policies, and new destinations.
  • Suggest product improvements, promotional offers, and seasonal packages based on market demand.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, enquiries, conversions, and sales performance.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes and policies at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum

    3 years of experience in travel & tourism sales

  • Strong knowledge of domestic & international destinations, packages, and pricing.
  • Proven experience in

    lead generation and team handling

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight timelines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and travel booking platforms.
