Sales Executive (Book Publishing)

Job Overview

Prayan Animation is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to lead the marketing and sales efforts for our Children’s Book services and Prayan’s own published titles. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books, strong networking skills, and the ability to identify and convert sales opportunities both in domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and connect with new authors, publishers, and potential clients for children’s book projects.

•Drive sales of Prayan’s published books across retail, online, and institutional channels.

•Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

•Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and market reach.

•Build and maintain strong relationships with authors, distributors, and booksellers.

•Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.

•Represent Prayan Animation at book fairs, events, and networking opportunities (national and international).

•Coordinate with the creative and production teams to ensure client requirements are met effectively.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Publishing, or related field.

•1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or publishing (experience in children’s books is a plus).

•Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

•Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a target-driven environment.

•Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and book fairs.

•Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of digital marketing tools is an advantage.

•Willing to relocate or commute to Trivandrum
