Role & responsibilities Responsibilities: 1. Visit Planning & Follow-ups Plan and organize visits to customers, including OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and end users. Ensure timely follow-ups to nurture leads and close sales. 2. Customer Database Management Maintain comprehensive databases of customers, offers, orders, and personal MIS (Management Information System). Track sales performance within the designated region. 3. Techno-Commercial Sales Drive sales by understanding customer needs and offering customized solutions. Communicate product features and benefits effectively to customers. 4. Customer Communication Manage both physical and virtual communication with existing and potential customers. Build and maintain strong relationships to foster trust and loyalty. 5. Lead Generation Identify and generate new leads to expand customer base. 6. Pre-Sales Activities Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers. Engage with customers to understand their requirements and tailor solutions accordingly. 7. Post-Sales Activities Ensure timely collection of approved documents and payments. Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction. 8. Site Inputs Collection Conduct site visits as required to collect basic measurements and process information. Use site inputs to provide accurate information to the back-office team for process design. 9. Communication with Back-Office Team Provide necessary inputs to the back-office team to aid in process design and other technical aspects. Skills & Competencies: Communication Skills: Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in English communication. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of water and wastewater components and systems. MS Office Proficiency: Expertise in MS Office applications for maintaining databases and preparing reports. Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and execute customer visits and follow-ups efficiently. Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to understand customer issues and provide effective solutions. Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of different types of water and wastewater processes and applications. Familiarity with OEMs and end users.
