Position Summary

Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the Level Sensor and other process instrumentation portfolio.
  • Lead & Customer Management:

    Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new sales leads and potential customers within relevant industrial sectors. Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
  • Technical Consultation:

    Act as a technical expert to customers, understanding their process requirements and suggesting the most appropriate Level, Pressure, or Temperature sensors and process instrumentation solutions.
  • Quotation & Follow-up:

    Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and manage sales negotiations through to the closing of the deal.
  • Installation Support:

    Provide hands-on guidance or coordinate with the technical team to assist customers with the installation and initial commissioning of the sensors.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments in the process instrumentation market, particularly level sensing.
  • Reporting:

    Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience:

    A minimum of

    2-3 years of proven sales experience

    in

    Process Instrumentation

    .
  • Product Focus:

    Dedicated experience in selling Level Sensors is a mandatory requirement.

  • Product Knowledge:

    Strong technical knowledge of process instrumentation products, including Level, Pressure, and Temperature sensors.
  • Technical Skills:

    Ability to understand technical specifications and application requirements to provide suitable solutions (sensor suggestion).
  • Self-Management:

    Must be a

    self-driven individual

    capable of managing all sales activities independently, including lead generation, customer visits, and pipeline management.
  • Education:

    A degree or diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical) is highly preferred.
  • Location:

    Based in South India and willing to travel as required.
