Sales Engineer KBL Pumps About the Company and Role SHANBHAGS is a diversified distributor of industrial pumps, motors and compressors. We represent leading Indian and international brands as their authorized distributor with a pan-India presence. Our varied list of clients includes major Indian and multinational companies. We are headquartered in Mumbai, with branch offices in Pune Surat, and sales service personnel across Delhi, Hyderabad, Vadodara and Ahmedabad. We are looking for a qualified, experienced Resident Sales Engineer in Vadodara for our range of KBL pumps systems used in the Building Construction industry. Responsibilities Business development across the assigned territory this involves generating leads and cold calls to prospective customers, as well as frequent travel for face-to-face customer meetings with customers, contractors, consultants. Sales of technical, specialized pumping products to qualified buyers / purchase teams in a competitive environment. One needs to understand the customer s requirements which means having good knowledge of their business operations. Regular Go-to-Market planning keeping the long-term business objectives in mind, while also achieving monthly / annual targets and undertaking periodic performance reviews. Identifying and developing new opportunities for KBL pumps including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services or new channels to reach existing markets. Frequent liaising with the Account/Admin team and Order Execution team as appropriate for business operations pre and post sales. Requirements Diploma or Degree Engineers with 3-4 years sales experience in industrial pumps. Prior experience with centrifugal pumps in HVAC, Fire-Fighting, Water Supply, PHE/MEP applications is required. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel) as well as Google Suite (email, calendar, etc.). Willingness to learn and use new computer applications like CRM tools. Dynamic, go-getter, willing to go the distance to close orders Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the state; own 2-wheeler required. Fluency in English and the local language is preferred
