Role Overview:

The Sales Engineer Instrumentation will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, promoting field and process instrumentation products, managing customer accounts, and achieving sales targets. The role requires strong technical knowledge of instrumentation products, excellent customer engagement skills, and experience working with EPCs, end-users, and consultants in industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generation of new leads for Field Instrumentation products like Pressure/DP/Temperature transmitters, Flow meters, wireless process instruments, liquid, and gas analyzers.
  • Generation of new leads for Level instrumentation products like GWR, level gauges, Radar transmitters and displacer switches.
  • Generation of new leads for Flow instrumentation products like Orifice, Venturi meters, pitot tubes and Restriction Orifices.
  • Generation of new leads for Field interface products like data acquisition, controllers, signal conditioners, junction boxes, terminals, power supplies etc.
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements.
  • Quotation Submission
  • Project pursuit
  • Customer Services by identifying their instrumentation needs.
  • Engage adaptation and application-based selling, regular visit to customers to understand technical and commercial requirement.
  • Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers.
  • Promotion of products to customers by means of presentation and road shows
  • Through review of bid documents and bid preparation
  • Regular follow up on submitted bids till receipt of order.
  • Preparation of sales report for weekly/monthly and yearly review
  • Extensive support in achieving the division target.
  • Keep regular target on delivery and payment collection.

Key Requirement:

  • Graduate of Engineering and other related fields of study
  • 5 years experience in sales & marketing of process control instruments for power/water/refineries and petrochemical industry

  • Experience in selling major instrumentation brands such as: Yokogawa/Emerson/ABB/Siemens/Magnetrol/Vega/ E+H/Honeywell.
