Job Description

Job Description: As a Sales and Service Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting, selling, installing, maintaining, and servicing laboratory scientific instruments. Your goal is to support existing clients, troubleshoot technical issues, and help expand the customer base by demonstrating the value and functionality of advanced lab equipment. Key Responsibilities: Sales Responsibilities: Identify and approach potential customers in academic, research, pharmaceutical, environmental, and industrial labs. Promote a range of laboratory instruments (e.g., Ultrapure water systems , Gas Generators,spectrophotometers, centrifuges, incubators, analyzers, etc.). Deliver product presentations and demonstrations. Provide technical support during the sales process. Prepare quotations and follow up on sales leads. Negotiate contracts and close sales. Service Responsibilities: Install and calibrate laboratory instruments at client sites. Conduct regular maintenance and performance checks. Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues. Provide training to end users on instrument use and maintenance. Maintain service reports Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests. Skills Required: Strong understanding of scientific instruments and lab workflows. Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users. Sales acumen and customer-focused attitude. Willingness to travel frequently (sometimes with short notice). Qualifications: Degree in Engineering , Biomedical Sciences , Electronics , Instrumentation , or a related field. Experience in laboratory equipment sales or servicing (13 years preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. Valid driver's license (often required for site visits). Work Environment: Combination of client site visits, lab environments. Frequent travel to laboratories, hospitals, universities, and research centers.
