Sales and Overseas Development

As a Business Development Executive in the Freight division, your role involves generating sales for the Freight Forwarding Business Unit. You will be responsible for leading, developing, and implementing marketing strategies to drive growth specifically for the import freight forwarding vertical. Your location for this role will be in Delhi. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your 1-2 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding industry (Sea & Air) to generate sales. - Leverage your existing shipper base to divert business once on-board. - Develop sales leads through business contacts and personal networking to achieve revenue targets set by management. - Prepare and submit new business proposals to potential clients. - Demonstrate competency in providing total logistics solutions to customers. - Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and service level agreements. - Ensure the region achieves the budgeted volumes/revenue through effective business development strategies. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding industry (Sea & Air). - Existing shipper base that can be redirected upon on-boarding. - Ability to develop sales leads through networking and achieve revenue targets. - Competency in offering comprehensive logistics solutions to customers.
