Job Description

Sales agents identify leads, understand customer needs, and present products or services to close deals while building and maintaining client relationships. Key responsibilities include generating new business through cold calling and referrals, developing strong customer relationships, presenting product information, negotiating contracts and pricing, and meeting sales targets. Sales agents also track sales performance, conduct market research, stay updated on product and industry trends, and prepare reports for management. Key Sales Agent Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation:Research potential clients and generate new leads through various sources, such as business directories, web searches, and referrals.
  • Customer Engagement:Contact potential customers via phone calls and emails, answer product-related questions, and conduct sales presentations.
  • Needs Assessment:Determine customer needs and pain points to offer tailored product or service solutions that align with their requirements.
  • Sales & Closing:Pitch relevant products or services, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and guide customers through the purchasing process to close deals.
  • Relationship Management:Build and maintain positive, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Targets & Performance:Meet or exceed sales goals and quotas, tracking and reporting on sales performance to higher management.
  • Product Knowledge & Market Awareness:Stay up-to-date on product features, company offerings, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Administrative Tasks:Maintain customer databases, record call details, manage sales records and documents, and prepare sales reports.
  • Team Collaboration:Work with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to coordinate sales efforts and improve processes.
  • Problem Resolution:Address and resolve customer complaints and issues to ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance
Contract length: 11 months

Pay: ₹9,595.52 - ₹33,303.14 per month

Expected hours: 2 – 8 per week
