Experience: 1 – 5 Years Qualification: M.E. in Industrial Safety / Diploma in Industrial Safety Location: Thoppampatti Pirivu, Coimbatore – Onsite Company: Emerald Jewel Industry India Limited – Unit 1 Work Schedule: 6 Days a Week, Rotational Shifts Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Safety Officer to join our team at Unit 1, Emerald Jewel Industry India Limited. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment in compliance with statutory and organizational safety regulations and practices. Key Responsibilities: Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs across the facility. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards. Monitor workplace activities to ensure all employees comply with safety standards and regulations. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions. Conduct safety training and awareness programs for new and existing employees. Maintain up-to-date records of safety audits, incident reports, and training activities. Coordinate with various departments to promote and implement safety culture. Assist in emergency preparedness planning and response drills. Liaise with government bodies and ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., TN Factories Act, Environmental regulations).
