Safety In-charge

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Enforce adherence to company safety policies and legal regulations (e.g., BOCW, OSHA, etc.).
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions immediately.
• Organize and conduct safety induction and training programs for workers and staff.
• Maintain records of incidents, accidents, near-misses, and safety violations.
• Investigate accidents and prepare reports with root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers and visitors.
• Supervise and ensure the installation and maintenance of safety signage and barricades.
• Liaise with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to promote a safety-first culture.
• Keep emergency response procedures updated and conduct periodic drills.
• Prepare daily and weekly safety reports for management review.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in construction safety supervision.
• Certification in safety courses (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and local labor laws.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
