Safety Engineer

Role Overview: In this role at Jacobs, your primary responsibility will be to ensure project delivery, design management, and project management to position and win projects involving a range of services. You will collaborate with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver, and operate various projects. Key Responsibilities: - Assist Site Manager in the safe implementation of construction activities within specified parameters. - Allocate work and responsibilities to assigned subordinate staff. - Study, assess, and comment on Contractors" Resources for maintaining safety at the site and for adequacy of executing awarded jobs in accordance with safe practices. - Conduct safety meetings regularly with Jacobs staff, Contractors, and Clients. - Arrange and witness safe load tests of Contractors" Equipment and Machinery. - Establish various safety records, reports, and site documentation to be maintained and ensure proper maintenance with the help of subordinate staff. - Assist Site Manager / Commissioning Engineers in carrying out pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in a safe and effective manner. Qualifications Required: - BE + AIDS/ PGDIS - Experience: 2 to 5 years for BE, 4-7 years for Diploma, 8-11 years for HSE+ safety Qualification (ADIS/ PGDIS) Location: - Sites (Anywhere in India) Additional Details: This role is on a contract basis at Jacobs, a company committed to promoting a culture of caring, inclusivity, and diversity.
