Job Description

As a Ruby on Rails Full Stack Developer at the company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails. - Implementing and optimizing RESTful APIs and secure authentication mechanisms. - Collaborating on frontend development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and optionally React.js or Vue.js. - Building and managing background job processing with Sidekiq and Redis. - Developing and executing automated tests using RSpec, Capybara, and similar frameworks. - Working with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL for efficient data management. - Integrating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Git, Docker, and tools like GitLab CI or Jenkins. - Deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Participating in Agile development processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables and version control. The expertise you are required to bring to this role includes: - Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails (5.x/6.x/7.x). - Experience with RSpec, Capybara, or similar testing frameworks. - Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar RDBMS. - Familiarity with Sidekiq, Redis, and background job processing. - Understanding of RESTful APIs, OAuth, and secure authentication. - Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery. - Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React.js or Vue.js (optional but a plus). - Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins). - Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Understanding of Agile methodologies and version control tools.
