Ruby On Rails Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team and contribute to the Crediwatch Risk Management product. The ideal candidate will be flexible, thrive in a demanding startup environment, and report directly to the Lead Engineer. This is a work from office position at our office in Bangalore.

Must Have

• 3 - 6 Years of Experience in building scalable cloud-based and on premise web applications on Ruby On Rails Framework.
• Extensive experience with Rails 7.
• Strong knowledge in OOPS concepts and Design Patterns.
• Experience with SQL, MongoDB, or comparable relational database systems.
• Proficiency in building data visualizations and hands-on with behavior-driven development with RSpec.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript-based UI frameworks like Stimulus, and Hotwire.
• Good front-end knowledge including HTML5, CSS.
• Uses Git for source code management.
• Continuous Deployment - Writing new application features so they can be deployed with zero downtime.
• Strong ability to articulate architectures and problem statements.
• Experience with Redis caching.
• Experience with Kubernetes deployment.

Good to have

• Knowledge of handling and management of load-balancing and high availability systems and data replications across multiple data-centers.
• Experience working with ElasticSearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
• Experience working with Docker container.

Plus Points

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Domain knowledge in the financial/data space.
• Any external, relevant certifications.
• Hands-on knowledge of deployment and monitoring tools.
