Job Description

As a Rubber Chemist, you will be instrumental in the research, development, and quality control of our rubber-based products. You will work closely with our production and R&D teams to optimize existing formulations, develop new compounds, and ensure the highest standards of product performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Formulation Development: Develop, test, and optimize rubber compounds for various applications, focusing on enhancing physical properties, durability, and cost-effectiveness. Material Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of raw materials and finished products using various analytical techniques (e.g., rheology, mechanical testing, thermal analysis). Quality Control: Establish and maintain quality control procedures for rubber mixing and processing, ensuring consistency and adherence to specifications. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot production issues related to rubber compounding and processing, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Research & Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, new materials, and technologies in rubber chemistry to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of experiments, formulations, test results, and production processes. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including production, sales, and engineering.
