Job Description

As part of the Centre of Excellence (COE) team from Bangalore GBS Organization, your role involves performing Record To Report (RTR) activities for entities under US GAAP following standard processes. You will provide timely and accurate financial record-keeping and reporting as directed by management. Your responsibilities include: - Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards - Creating reports on financial performance and providing insightful analysis for internal and external use - Participating in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as needed - Implementing and adhering to internal controls while ensuring accounting procedures comply with GAAP Qualification Required: - Certified CA/CMA preferred. Open to candidates with adequate years of relevant experience In terms of skills required, you should possess the following: Accuracy and Attention to Detail: - Completing tasks with high levels of precision - Using specific approaches and tools for checking and cross-checking outputs - Learning from mistakes and applying lessons learned Analytical Thinking: - Identifying the root cause of organizational problems and creating alternative solutions - Using techniques and tools for effective analysis - Making systematic comparisons of alternative solutions Effective Communications: - Transmitting, receiving, and accurately interpreting ideas, information, and needs - Delivering helpful feedback and listening without defensiveness - Making oral presentations and writing reports needed for work Managing Multiple Priorities: - Managing multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities - Recognizing changing demands and priorities - Completing work according to assigned priorities and responding to day-to-day operational priorities Problem Solving: - Documenting specific problems and resolution alternatives - Understanding the perspective of each involved stakeholder - Identifying risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtaining decisions on resolution Accounting: - Maintaining and preparing financial statements and reports - Working with financial transactions and related documentation - Utilizing cost monitoring practices, techniques, and considerations Financial Analysis: - Reading, interpreting, and drawing accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material - Applying principles used to evaluate the economics of investment decisions - Utilizing basic qualitative and quantitative tools and techniques proficiently Financial Reporting: - Creating and maintaining accurate and thorough financial reports - Following organizational practices and guidelines for product profitability reporting - Monitoring compliance with organizational standards for financial report writing This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Your expertise in accounting methods, financial analysis, and financial reporting will be crucial for success in this role.,
