In this role, you will lead and manage the Record to Report (RTR) process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting.Responsibilities.Oversee the end-to-end RTR process, including general ledger accounting, month-end close activities, and financial reporting..Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports..Manage a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations..Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and adherence to accounting policies and procedures..Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the RTR function..Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements..Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations..Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive initiatives to achieve targets.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills.Fluency in German and a strong command of English.Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.3+ years of experience in management within the RTR function.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications / Skills.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven track record of implementing process improvements.Experience working in the retail industry / with retail clients.Knowledge of additional languagesWhy join Genpact.
