In this role as a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for handling raw materials procurement in organizations related to ISGEC, Godrej, Energy Sector, Automotive Sector, etc. You should have hands-on experience with ERP/SAP software and possess knowledge of Imports including Customs, BIS, Import Duties, Incoterms, and other import-related transactions. Your technical competency should include the ability to read ASME codes and other technical/testing requirements. It would be advantageous if you have experience in procurement of Tubes, Plates, Forgings, etc. Additionally, you should have good proficiency in MS Excel and strong verbal and written communication skills. Your responsibilities will include creating and interpreting complex designs and drawings. Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly ERP/SAP, will be essential for managing and streamlining business processes. Additionally, proficiency in CNC software for programming and generating CNC programs is required to achieve precise plate cutting layout. Understanding of engineering drawings, materials, and testing requirements is crucial for this role. Effective communication skills and proficiency in MS Office applications for documentation, reporting, and presentations are also necessary.
