RPA Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining intelligent automation solutions that streamline business processes and drive operational efficiency.
This role focuses primarily on UiPath development but also values familiarity with other automation platforms such as Power Automate, Blue Prism, and Automation Anywhere, as well as modern AI-integrated automation frameworks.

The ideal candidate blends strong RPA development skills, process analysis expertise, and a problem-solving mindset, delivering secure, scalable, and maintainable automation workflows that align with enterprise standards and governance.

Skills & Competencies:

• Technical Skills

• Primary Platform:

  UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Assistant, AI Center, Action Center, Apps)

• Other RPA Tools (Preferred):

  Familiarity with Playwright, Power Automate, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere or equivalent

• Programming / Scripting:

  VB.NET, C#, Python, JavaScript

• API & DB:

  Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, SQL databases, SharePoint

• Automation Design:

  REFramework, queue-based automation, attended/unattended bots

• AI & Cognitive Automation:

  Familiarity with UiPath Document Understanding, OCR, NLP integration, LLM/ChatGPT API exposure

• Version Control & CI/CD:

  Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions using UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Robots) or other automation platforms like Power Automate, Blue Prism, and Automation Anywhere.
• Integrate automation components with APIs, databases, web services, and other internal enterprise systems.
• Build reusable automation components and frameworks following best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including solution design documents, process definition documents (PDDs), and user guides.
• Implement error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms for robust automation solutions.
• Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and assess feasibility.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define automation scope.
• Estimate development efforts and provide technical recommendations.
• Optimize existing automations for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Debug and troubleshoot automation failures and performance issues.
• Monitor bot performance and implement continuous improvements.
• Provide production support and maintain deployed automation solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and promote automation best practices.
• Able to work in an agile environment following Scrum/ Kanban frameworks
