Rotating Equipment Engineer

Our engineering team is responsible for planning and implementing large-scale plants in the metallurgical and chemical sectors, with a particular emphasis on the planning, sizing, and procurement of process equipment known as package units. Currently, we are seeking an engineer with expertise in "Rotating Equipment" such as pumps, blowers, and compressors. In the role of a Project Engineer - Mechanical Equipment, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including designing, developing, and optimizing fluid systems, conducting preliminary designs for equipment, and managing time and budget planning for assigned equipment packages. Your responsibilities will also include specifying technical requirements for equipment packages, engaging in technical negotiations with suppliers, coordinating interfaces with other disciplines in international projects, managing subcontractors, and ensuring that delivery and performance scope meet quality standards. Additionally, you will be involved in conducting inspections at manufacturers" plants, supporting offer preparation, and participating in Product Safety Management measures within projects. We are looking for a candidate who holds a bachelor's degree, preferably a master's degree, in mechanical or process engineering. The ideal candidate should possess good knowledge in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, along with professional experience in handling mechanical equipment and industrial projects. Experience in project work with international teams, proficiency in English (both written and spoken), and German language skills are advantageous. The role also requires willingness to travel for inspections and project meetings, as well as a structured, goal-oriented, reliable, and self-responsible working style.
