Job Description

Required Skills and Qualifications:

6+ years of professional experience in
Ruby on Rails
development.
Strong understanding of
MVC
,
OOP
, and
RESTful API
design.
Experience with
PostgreSQL
,
MySQL
, or similar relational databases.
Proficient in
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
, and modern JS frameworks like
React
,
Vue.js
, or
StimulusJS
.
Familiarity with background job processing using
Sidekiq
,
Resque
, or similar.
Experience with
RSpec
,
Capybara
, or similar testing frameworks.
Hands-on experience with version control systems, especially
Git
.
Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Heroku) is a plus.
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and optimization skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with microservices architecture.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
Prior experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Contribution to open-source projects or active GitHub profile is a plus.

Education:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
