Rolling Mill Supervisor

As a Production Planning and Control Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining quality control standards. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing production schedules, analyzing production requirements, determining raw material needs, collaborating with procurement, coordinating with Quality Control teams, monitoring and recording production parameters, identifying areas for continuous improvement, preparing production reports, and ensuring compliance with production specifications and quality standards. To excel in this role, you will need to have a Degree/Diploma in mechanical/metallurgical engineering, proven experience in production planning and control in manufacturing environments (preferably in the steel or alloys sector), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Your knowledge of mechanical and metallurgical testing of steel rolled products, dimensional and surface inspection of products, and experience with continuous improvement practices will be crucial to your success in this role.
