Responsibilities: - Identify, prioritize, and troubleshoot incidents remotely in alignment with customer business requirements, organizational policies, and operational impact. - Schedule and monitor the execution of grid service events. - Develop new rules for the data engine to support strategic root cause corrections. - Monitor and troubleshoot various information and network systems, including LAN/WAN systems, firewalls, IoT systems, operating systems, and energy storage management systems. - Record operational incidents in JIRA. - Collaborate with field technicians for installation and operational issue resolution. - Inform field service, customer operations, and third-party service providers about issues, outages, and remediation progress. - Work with internal and external technical and service teams to provide temporary and permanent solutions to system issues and update knowledge base articles. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree (BTech/BE) in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering from an accredited college or university. - Proficiency in communication protocols such as MODBUS RS485 and TCP/IP communications, networking fundamentals like DHCP/Static, DNS, TCP/IP protocols, router/switch configuration, and IP address planning. - Knowledge of electrical power systems, solar power systems, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). - Experience in analyzing large datasets and data analysis. - Familiarity with server operating systems and network devices. - Ability to creatively solve problems in ambiguous situations. - Experience with executing custom scripts (light coding/understanding). - Strong verbal and written English language skills. Preferred: - Experience in solar asset performance analysis. - Proficiency in communication protocols like MODBUS RS485 and TCP/IP communications, networking fundamentals, and router/switch configuration. - Experience in providing remote support using virtual desktop tools. - Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Plotly, SQL, Python, Linux/command line, Big Data visualization, and relational databases. - Analytical aptitude and ability to work effectively under stress.
