Role & responsibilities: Initiate lead/demand generation strategies and visit customers. Identify strong potential prospects using various data mining options and creativity, to generate leads and opportunities. Assess and analyse a prospect's current process and requirements; and accordingly find the brand fit. Provide engaging and articulate information about Patvins value proposition to potential customers. Maintain well organized, up-to-date, and accurate sales information and activity reports in the CRM system. Collaboratively work with the marketing team and EI leadership to develop lead generation strategies to generate lead opportunities with prospective customers. Initiates and participates in new business pitches with sales team and subject matter experts and own follow through with the lead prospect. Confidently participate in the preparation of proposals and the presentation of professional product demonstrations, via webinars or face-to-face meetings. Represent Patvin at corporate events or sales meetings independently or with colleagues. Meet personal targets and work towards Patvins sales goals and profitability. Provide consistent, concise, accurate internal and external communications. Demonstrates ability to interact professionally with potential customers via phone, email, telephone conferencing, webinars, and face to face, to discover their business needs and develop a positive business relationship. Providing consistent, concise, accurate and timely weekly/monthly sales lead gen activity reports to management. Adhere to company policies, procedures, culture, and business ethics. Develop a strong knowledge of Patvins products and services to facilitate the sales process. Preferred candidate profile: Field Sales Engineer role for industrial products sales / consultative selling candidates should not be from automotive dealership. Products involve equipment selling, turnkey solutions, OEM sales no retail or banking products sales will be considered. Focus on system or service sales includes machine tools, fluid machinery, automation solutions, robotics, capital goods. Purely B2B product sales industrial clients only. No requirement for candidates from automotive dealership models preference for those handling OEM or direct manufacturing sales and selling equipment / solutions to the automotive industry would be preferred. Must have experience in industrial sales not from retail, FMCG, or consumer-facing roles. Daily customer calls, on-site visits required – this is a field-intensive role. Regular commuting to customer locations is essential – candidates must be comfortable with field sales. Outstation travel as required – all such travel will be reimbursed as per company norms. Prior experience with brands like Festo, SMC, CKD, Parker, Fluid Wyne, Wipro Pari is a strong plus. Initial HR screening will focus on industrial B2B background, technical aptitude, and comfort with field travel. Candidates should know the local language based on the location as they will be coordinating with operators directly who are from vernacular medium. Local language is must. Bangalore - Kannada is must Chennai - Tamil is must Ahmedabad - Gujarati is must
