Robotic Welder – Sheet Metal Fabrication

Job Overview:

We are hiring a Robotic Welder / Robotic Welding Operator for our sheet metal fabrication facility. This position focuses on operating and supporting automated welding robots to produce thin-gauge sheet metal components with high quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate robotic welding machines (MIG, TIG, pulse welding)
• Load/unload sheet metal parts into fixtures and jigs
• Monitor automated welding processes and cycle times
• Make parameter adjustments for thin-gauge steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Perform visual inspection and basic dimensional checks
• Identify and correct common welding defects (burn-through, spatter, distortion)
• Troubleshoot minor robotic welding equipment issues
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and housekeeping
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
• Maintain production, quality, and safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience as a robotic welder, robot welder, or automated welding operator
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing
• Knowledge of MIG welding, TIG welding, or pulse welding
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with FANUC/ABB/KUKA/Yaskawa/Motoman robots
• Experience welding thin-gauge metal
• Prior experience in metal fabrication, automated manufacturing, or production welding

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
