Key Responsibilities of Road Supervisor
1.Supervise daily road construction, maintenance, or traffic operations.
2.Monitor work progress to ensure compliance with approved plans, safety standards, and regulations.
3.Inspect road conditions, materials, equipment, and workmanship.
4.Coordinate field activities with engineers, contractors, and other departments.
5.Identify operational issues, delays, or safety risks and report them promptly to senior management.
6.Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on work progress, manpower, equipment usage, and incidents.
7.Ensure proper implementation of safety policies and conduct toolbox talks.
8.Recommend corrective actions and improvements to senior supervisors.
9.Maintain records, logs, and documentation as required by management.
10. Support audits, inspections, and management reviews.
11.Knowledge of road construction works such as CC roads, SWD, DBM, and BC roads.
Understand basic construction methods, materials, and quality requirements to ensure proper execution of road works.
