Banca Channel Manager / Banca Channel Sales Specialist (or similar)

Purpose

To drive business growth by leveraging banking partner channels to distribute financial/insurance products, build and maintain relationships with bank staff and stakeholders, and meet designated sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement and monitor the sales strategy for the bancassurance / banca channel through the bank partner network.

Build and maintain strong relationships with bank branch management, bank staff, and insurance/financial product partners.

Conduct product training and awareness sessions for bank staff to improve their ability to sell/advocate the partnered products.

Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets (new business, renewals, cross-sell/upsell) via the banking channel.

Monitor performance metrics (sales volume, conversion, drop-off, customer satisfaction), conduct market/competitor analysis and provide feedback to senior management.

Work closely with marketing to design and execute campaigns, promotions, and activations in banking branches.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies related to sales, documentation, disclosures, partnership agreements etc.

Provide regular reports to senior management: status of bank partnerships, pipeline, issues, opportunities, performance gaps.

Identify new banking partners, expansion opportunities and collaborate across functions (operations, product, risk, legal) to enable business.

Support resolution of partner issues, coordinate with internal teams (operations, back-office, claims) to ensure smooth service for customers.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field.

Typically 1-5 years (or more) of experience in banking / insurance sales, preferably in banca or bancassurance channel.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in financial services.

Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to lead training and engage with multiple stakeholders at different levels (bank staff, branch managers, internal teams).

Good analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends and take corrective action.

Familiarity with banking processes, insurance/financial product distribution and regulatory compliance.

Willingness to travel to bank branches as required.
