Job Description

As an Associate covering Risk Management Capital Planning at Morgan Stanley, you will be a part of the Internal Audit Division (IAD) responsible for independently assessing the quality and effectiveness of the firm's system of internal control, including risk management and governance systems and processes. Your role involves performing assurance activities to identify vulnerabilities and provide impactful messages about the most important risks facing the firm. You will be inspecting controls in front, middle, and back offices to drive continual improvement of risk management processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute a wide range of assurance activities such as audits, continuous monitoring, and closure verification - Understand and adopt new audit tools and techniques - Develop clear and concise messages regarding risk and business impact within your relevant coverage area - Identify and leverage data for analysis in your coverage area - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build effective working relationships and achieve team deliverables **Qualifications Required:** - Understanding of audit principles, tools, and processes including risk assessments, planning, testing, reporting, and continuous monitoring - Ability to communicate clearly and adapt messages to different audiences - Proficiency in identifying patterns and anomalies in data - Commitment to practicing inclusive behaviors - Willingness to solicit and provide feedback for self and peer development As an Associate at Morgan Stanley, you can expect to work in a hybrid setup with 4 days in the office, Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM India time. There is flexibility on standard working hours for time-sensitive matters, including India Public Holidays. Additionally, you may have periodic evening calls with US and EMEA internal clients and vendors.
