Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional with 8 to 13 years of experience in risk, internal audit, or internal controls to join our team as a Manager in the Life Sciences sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling engagements in the Life Sciences Sector across the entire value chain. ### Roles and Responsibility Manage client assignments independently with minimal supervision. Oversee multiple assignments and project teams to ensure timely delivery. Develop and implement sector-focused solutions for clients in the Life Sciences Sector. Collaborate with global sector leads and GDS sector leads to enhance GDS play in the Life Sciences Sector. Identify process gaps and recommend improvements based on client's business processes and industry practices. Anticipate and identify engagement-related risks, escalating issues promptly. Demonstrate an application and solution-based approach to problem-solving while executing client engagements and documenting working papers. Suggest ideas for improving engagement productivity and identify opportunities for enhancing client service. ### Job Requirements More than 8 years of experience in a Big 4 or professional firm/industry in risk, internal audit, or internal controls. Specialization in handling Life Sciences Sector engagements across the entire value chain. Experience in building and implementing sector-focused solutions for clients in the Life Sciences Sector. Strong academic history (degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or similar). Skilled at collaborating, motivating, and guiding high-performance teams. Cognitive problem-solving capabilities, quick decision-making skills, and ability to handle complex situations calmly. Exceptional command over spoken and written English. Globally mobile and flexible to travel to onsite locations. Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to think differently and innovate. Responsible for the performance and appraisal of direct reports, including training and developing necessary skill sets to enable them to grow in their careers. Mentor and coach junior team members, enabling them to meet their performance goals and successfully grow their careers. Run sector-focused upskilling programs to train the team on the latest solutions/technologies in the Life Sciences Sector. Support in building new sector-focused solutions in collaboration with Global sector teams/GDS sector leads to enhance the GDS Play in the Life Sciences Sector. Lead delivery of key big sector accounts to demonstrate sector depth and knowledge to onshore, stabilizing the GDS play in the account.
