Rigger

Key Responsibilities

• Select and inspect lifting gear (slings, shackles, chains, hooks, spreader bars, etc.) before use.
• Perform rigging and lifting operations for shipbuilding, ship repair, fabrication, and heavy equipment handling.
• Signal and guide crane operators, ensuring clear communication during lifts.
• Secure loads properly to prevent shifting, damage, or accidents.
• Read and interpret load charts, lifting plans, and instructions.
• Ensure all rigging work complies with company safety standards and statutory regulations.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling rigging equipment as required.
• Conduct daily checks and preventive maintenance on rigging gear and accessories.
• Report any unsafe conditions, defective equipment, or incidents immediately.
• Work closely with supervisors, crane operators, and other team members for smooth operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
